Alana De La Garza's beauty has made an impression even on tiny screens. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before she moved in Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of character roles including local independent films and commercials. Despite having small roles, she soon realized that she was drawn to acting. Her move was in New York. Her first gig was in the soap-opera All My Children. During the early part of 2000 She appeared on small parts for JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred alongside many notable TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget, and Mitch Pilegget. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Later, she starred in The Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. De La Garza received several nominations for this character, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008, De La Garza won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments further. She was Marisol Deko in the role of husband of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She was born Italian as well as having a 10-year-old younger brother who is named Cory. Her family was an orthodox, religious family. Milano's career began at age seven, when her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Milano was among four girls selected from among more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials and off Broadway productions like the musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
